A family owned and operated business, MATCO Civil Contractors was established in 2017 by Matt Paget. MATCO began with only one digger and one employee and has rapidly grown to have a team of over 25 employees along with a wide range of machinery. This allows them to work on various projects throughout the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Taupo, Napier and Coromandel regions.
They pride themselves on their excellent reputation in the construction industry which has been built over the course of the many projects they have completed. With a strong focus on quality and workmanship, they are committed to creating and maintaining strong relationships with their clients and providing the highest quality of work at competitive prices.
MATCO has invested in state-of-the-art technology that allows them to deliver high quality results with a low margin of error. They have the expertise and equipment to manage earthworks, floor preparation, footings, car parks, subdivisions, surfacing, cartage and transportation. From small-scale one-off jobs such as concrete and asphalt driveways to large scale projects like subdivisions, they can manage it all.
